“When the court is arrayed in splendor,
The fields are full of weeds,
And the granaries are bare.” (Chapter 53)
Consider a homeowner who only focuses on the interior of their house while neglecting the exterior; the outside becomes overgrown with weeds. Similarly, when workers cater to the wealthy indoors, the fields remain unharvested. Balance the time spent on splendor and work. Strive for equilibrium and live according to the way of Tao.
And what is there after the truth, but error? ~ The Qur’an, Ch. 10:32
Think of a mountain and its peak; once you reach the top there is nowhere left to go but down.
One should climb the mountain of #belief reach the peak and stay there not go down the mountain of disbelief.
May today bring suns of light into your life to illuminate your path to the mountaintop.
True #peace comes only from #God. His Son, being one with Him, can't oppose His will. For us, after atonement, we can open portals to #Heaven to spread God's peace. Initially dark like a veil, this #peace is unmistakably divine. With the help of #angels, this power, shared like miracles, requires personal tranquility. Be a conduit for divine peace and share it freely. (ACIM, W-200)

Lord Buddha Vipassī, 91 eons before our Buddha, hesitated to teach the Dhamma, believing many wouldn't understand. A Great Brahma encouraged him, noting beings with "little dust" needed the teaching. Vipassī agreed to open "the doors of the Deathless." This mirrors our Buddha's journey, as Buddhas follow similar paths across different times. We're urged to appreciate and seek out these teachings to access the Deathless ourselves.
This verse discusses the pursuit of pleasure and power versus achieving profound meditation. It suggests that attachment to desires hinders spiritual growth. One can practice letting go through meditation, focusing on breath, and acknowledging thoughts without dwelling on them. With practice, one can reach a state of deep concentration and gain resolute intelligence. Good morning! May the sun lead your way and the moon guide you back on the back of a great day!
The math does not add up here. There is one missing. Who knows what it is?
It is Laozi and others like him. Those beings that are enlightened. Those that go beyond the nine in ten; beyond the gross level.
Follow the one you are on, but strive for the one who is none. Good morning. I hope you have a peaceful day.

You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold or the sanctuary that has made the gold sacred? ~ Matthew 23:17
Here, Jesus is speaking to his disciples and, the at the same time, to the scribes and Pharisees. The disciples were amazed, and the scribes and Pharisees were dumbfounded. No one escaped his scorn if they did evil, and no-one could avoid his praise if they did good.
My focus today is of the recurrent theme through out the Qur’an. One that repeats the importance of keeping up prayer and paying the poor-rate and fear none but Allah. What a wonderful sentiment to repeat. It always raises my spirits, no matter how deep a hole I find myself in.
May your prayers be answered today, may your poor-rate abound, and may you fear none but Allah; and may your today turn into a long string of years.
