The dimly lit corridor ends with a large wooden door. The stench of goblins is stronger here, mingled with smoke from the flickering torches. A faint scratching sound comes from beyond the door. Your foot shifts one of the cracked stones, the scraping loud in emptiness. The sound beyond the door stops. For a moment there is only silence. Then the rapid slapping of several pairs of bare feet on stone. The door opens. The influx of stale air extinguishes the torches, leaving you in darkness.
on the played station. straight up "producing it". and by "it", haha, well. let's justr say. Mind-boggling effects

Family is imperfect.

Many of us have chosen families made in connection rather than relation.

In a time where men in power show us the worst, I find myself grateful for those who show up and challenge it.

To the metal heads, the writers, the ones who show up. The ones who accept us as we are.

if software engineering were real engineering (there, I said it), would we even have this ai plague upon us? Imagine a world with commercial software standards and how that would interact with vibe coding

IN OTHER @sewing NEWS

am taking a break from laundering because i had to wash a piece of black double-gauze fabric, not once or twice or thrice , but 7x to finally rid of what am assuming are particles of the dye used to color it.

7 EFFING TIMES.

am hoping this isnโ€™t some cochinealish thing cuz that could have landed me in the hospital had i not, coincidentally, taken antihistamines last night.

so question: is there a magic soap/detergent mix to rid fabric from dye particles?

i dont care who's been elected to the Auxiliary Community Safety Advisory Board for the Open Access Desktop Free Software Initiative (OADFSI) and who is super excited to work on accountability and transparency for the years to come.

I wanna know what kind of bugs l1mbo_ of #koffeestain-devel on libera dot chat ran into at 4 AM and how their cat is doing and that they're excited for kde 6.7

Finished Skald: Against the Black Priory this week. Fantastic game. Really nails the dark fantasy vibe. I love a game where you start out feeling like a bottom of the barrel wretch, and grow into a proper hero.

Bregor went from scrounging for broken arrows and stealing food to being given the keys to the magical armory and facing down cosmic horrors beyond his comprehension.

If you wanted to avoid the Torment Nexus, would you prefer GPL-wishfully-washed Open NATN (Not a Torment Nexus) or MIT-licensed fash-sponsored NexusLibre as an alternative?
