Finishing The Strength of the Few reminded me why I usually stick to older series. What do you mean the next book isn't out yet?? I have to wait HOW LONG???

@domo keeps me awake if I have a good amount of it. A small amount, like cola, tea, or like how most people make their drip coffee, and it just makes me sleepy.

@janamarie what would you suggest as an alternative vendor for small electronics, breakout boards, microcomputers, etc? Adafruit is basically the extent of my limited exposure to this space and I'd prefer not to buy from Amazon

@RosaCtrl I've had similar experiences as a cis man. As a teenager, I had some idealized libertarian views and dreams of unfettered capitalism innovating a high-tech futurism version of the future. As I learned more about the world and matured, I realized all of those promises were empty, and saw who they left out. That kind of future appealed less to me, as it is disconnected from humanity. Hanging out with pals is like peak human purpose already, so let's just do that.
