@samhenrigold Iโ€™d heard about the antenna issue but never looked into it. So if I understand you correctly the issue was strictly the perception of signal based on the bars shown, and not the actual signal itself?
@Dr_Bombay Awesome, I'm so glad! I joined the project in the past month & the team is so so so incredibly talented and awesome. I think it looks awesome, too. I can't wait to finally get my real characters in there.

I've been bedridden for the last 10 months, unable to work as I try to get a surgeon and insurance lined up for my operation to let me work again.
If you could send a couple dollars, it'd really help. Time isn't on my side here, and waiting is very expensive.

@unfa I watched it last night and learned some new tricks! Loved the โ€œdrag to codeโ€ shortcut for creating Node references. And the animation player how did I not know about that! What a super powerful tool.
@unfa I didn't get to experience Brackeys when he was doing his previous work. I'm super excited to follow him along in this new adventure. Thanks for sharing!

Brackeys was one of the most valued educational creators for Unity game engine.
He retired a few years ago and stopped.making tutorials. After the Unity Runtime Fee happened and broke all trust with the company's management - Brackeys broke his silence and announced that he is starting to learn Godot.

Today, 2 hours ago Brackeys has published his first Godot tutorial...

@eniko is this about the balatro code? i honestly assumed that was autogenerated from an external tool or card editor.

also several hundred line switch statements arenโ€™t disgusting, but itโ€™s also not exactly great either. but yeah itโ€™s hugely context specific. it makes sense in an interpreter where there might be speed or memory constraints or goals.

would it make sense for a web server app framework to do controller dispatching using a giant switch statement? probably not. easier to have some sort of dynamic dispatch to self registered handlers like in spring.

having had to scroll through a huge ass switch recently (dozens of cases, not hundreds thank god) your eyes just start to glaze over. itโ€™s a sea of monotonous and repetitive looking blocks of code. itโ€™s honestly claustrophobic but i admit thatโ€™s totally a vibes based assessment, not real engineering (whatever that means)
