Republicans are trying to get the Big Ugly Bill passed with a simple majority through budget reconciliation but they have a load of stuff in there that doesn’t follow the rules and Democrats are knocking it out.
This includes the REINS Act, which is awful, a ban on courts punishing Trump officials, and a few more things and they’re not done yet.

The Department of Energy does NOT drill for oil. One would expect its secretary, the White House, and the president to know that.
Of the thousands who left or were fired from DOE, I'm sure some left rather than be part of #$%^ like this. . .
In his first term they never sent anyone to the Dept of Energy to discuss the nukes and the process of launching the missles. It was more than a month later and NPR had a reporter talk to them and oyhe government agencies that got no one from the White House to visit them for the handover when Obama left.
Oh, crap! This “administration” and its toadies and followers are SO deluded and out of touch!
Gas prices will be unaffordable, and trump & co will be long gone (with Maralago supporting underwater coral reefs), before the first drop of gasoline refined from oil out of a lease approved today will get pumped.
It's like he's watching those old WWII movies where some politician gives a pep talk to the country, and then there's all these news reel clips of all these different factories cranking out war supplies like nobodies business, and we go on to win the war and everyone gets apple pie....
