Same as the Alberta ‘separatist’ groups. Mainly foreign rage-farmers making bank of people’s gullibility—and of course Meta gets their cut.
One of the worst and most dangerous things about social media is that people write about all sorts of things they don’t understand, creating misinformation and an even poorer understanding. It’s a serious problem, especially because when we are exposed to so much content we know is fake, we eventually stop remembering that it is.
This is due to cognitive fatigue: every time we expend energy verifying if an image or text is real or fake, it strains our cognitive resources. Over time, the brain begins to ‘relax’ and simply accepts the input as normal in order to save energy.
It you want to get stupid stay on social media 😬
En af de værste og farligste ting ved sociale medier er, at folk skriver om alt muligt de ikke har forstand på.
Det skaber misinformation og endnu dårligere forstand. Det er virkelig skidt.
