Christmas in the Southern Hemisphere is a weird thing!
- it’s summer. And here in Santiago, Chile, hot summer. Min 14C and max 32C these days. All the chants I’ve learned when a child in France are about winter wind, snow and being cold. Here we’re in short or even in swimming suit in the outdoor pool! The few Santas around are in malls or supermarkets with air conditioning because… 🥵

With all those respiratory infections everywhere... If only there were an effortless and inexpensive way or instrument to stop them. Some sort of barrier that catches the pathogens and stops them from reaching the respiratory tract...
But I guess that's science fiction...
Stop calling them “conspiracy theories”
It lends unearned credence
Maybe just call them what they are: Lies
The most challenging thing with #TunisianCrochet for me is how I'm holding the hook as the stitches grow. I need to take active breaks. It means I'm much slower with this compared to #crochet and #knitting but as a personal compromise to weaving, it does look good. Even if i made a booboo with the honeycomb stitch count (the beginning rows), but it's my own pattern so I decided to 'reset' with a couple of Afghan stitch rows. And these are all my own yarn I spun wheeeee
