Immer mehr Kinder kommen im Unterricht nicht allein zurecht. Vielerorts hat sich die Zahl der Schulbegleitungen verdoppelt - mit entsprechenden Kosten. Kommunen, Kreise und Land ringen um Lösungen.

Dear #permaculture & #nodig folk, how are y'all handling _the spreading_ of #woodchips during a #drought? Rather not and instead waiting for moister weather, or do you rather water them before spreading?

I'm wondering wether their insulating effect is a problem on soil that's dry to start with. The first few rains here seem to have barely moistened the top woodchip layer, but haven't reached the ground.

Seems like watering soil before spreading any cover seems best + then watering some more?

I took a survey today for Masterclass.com, a product I generally like and support. They appeared to be leaning into AI, which I detest. I thought about it after, so emailed them that if they started offering classes on how to use AI, I was probably going to cancel my membership, because I find it morally reprehensible.

I got an auto-respond email from an AI Bot offering to help me cancel my subscription. There you go.
