Had a "little whoopsie" with the burningboard.net infrastructure today. Totally on me! 🙋‍♂️

When deleting a partition, you really should be ABSOLUTELY sure you’re using the right partition ID... I wanted to delete/resize Swap, but I was off by one and nuked the /boot partition instead (ID 1 instead of 2).

Well, thankfully we have backups that actually work 😓 😅

Definitely didn't need a disaster recovery session on New Year's Eve, though.

Wenn man eine Partition löscht, sollte man sich RICHTIG sicher sein, dass man die richtige Partitions-ID verwendet..

Ich wollte die Swap-Partition löschen und größer anlegen und war um eines verrutscht und habe stattdessen die /boot Partition gelöscht (ID 1 statt 2). Nunja, zum Glück haben wir Backups die auch funktionieren 😓 😅

Hätte ich jetzt am Silvester Abend auch nicht unbedingt gebraucht so ein Disaster-Recovery.

I made a spelling mistake several times, but no one told me I was wrongly spelling the word: insisted to write "Yuno OS" when it is "YUNO HOST". Blindness directly connected to laziness. Using voice-only feedbacks, without activating English dictionary, on mobile device only. With no mood to connect Braille device or, better, reading character by character. Giving that software for granted as an operating system.
And the wrong assumption made me misspell the research on Internet making me get lost.
In the end, there's no issue in saying "careful, double-check, you've misspelled the word". But maybe, with no bad intentions, people just felt uncomfortable to warn me. Like thinking "this is bullying, this is reminding someone of their disability". We are people around people, everyone makes mistakes and everyone should help each other overcome them.
