Power Grid: The Stock Companies

An expansion for Power Grid that turns it into an 18xx-style stock management game.

It's a bit early to tell, but on the face of it this seems like a significant improvement. There's none of the turn-order rubber-banding - which spoiled the original for me.

The only problem is that the English translation is poor and some finer points were a bit vague. Should be smoother next time.

Okay, some really bad news but also a suggestion for a way forward. The Guppe groups domain name was sold by their registrar before they could renew it. This means all Guppe groups are broken, and their web addresses point to a spam blog 😞 However, there is another group provider called FediGroups, you can find out more on their site: ➡️ https://about.fedigroups.social/home FediGroups has features that Guppe never had, including private groups. Habe heute einen AliExpress Rechner als #debian #homeserver eingerichtet mit #portainer als #docker Container. Dann #paperlessngx zur Dokumenten- und #immich zur Bildverwaltung und denke mir gerade nur wie komplett insane das alles ist. Fühle mich wie der König der Welt und bin angefixt 😅 #foss

Heute nochmal mit #FirstClass nachgelegt und leider muss ich meinen letzten Eindruck etwas widerrufen. Ja, das Spielgefühl ist gut und die Runden laufen schnell durch. Bei der zweiten Partie in 2 Wochen offenbart sich aber schon eine gewisse Abnutzung, da sich die Runden trotz unterschiedlichen Modulen sehr ähneln. Wird wohl doch aussortiert werden.
Ganz anders #ImportExport - super viel subtile Tiefe. Je nach Kartenhand und erster Aufträge unterschiedliche Strategien. Super!
