After setting up #Immich a few months ago, I noticed that a lot of my photos were out of order in the timeline. So I built a small #OpenSource tool:

It scans media folders and fixes exif data. I’ve now run it on 30,000+ files, and it already cleaned up a huge part of my own Immich timeline. Maybe it helps others bring their photo library back into order too. Feedback, bug reports, ideas, and pull requests are very welcome.

Das Problem hatte ich anfangs bei #Immich mit meinen Nichten - zwischenzeitlich läuft es bei mir nach vielfacher Korrektur sehr gut

Mein Vorgehen war:
1. Die Fotos auf eine externe Festplatte exportiert
2. Bilder per immich Go in #Immich importiert https://github.com/simulot/immich-go
3. Die mit mir geteilten Alben über die iPhone-App importiert

Zum Schluss habe ich alle Alben der #icloud in der IPhone-#Immich-App aktiviert - dabei sind noch mal ein paar Bilder gefunden worden die den Weg noch nicht auf den Server gefunden haben.
Danach mit Deduplication nochmal aufgeräumt

Nicht elegant - im Urlaub und alles läuft

Nutzt jemand ein #ugreen #nas? Ich hadere noch etwas, ob ich meine Medien in #Docker mit #Immich und #Jellyfin oder mit der hauseigenen #UGOS Lösung nutze.

#Immich z.B. ist cool, aber die Oberfläche hat, zumindest bei mir, noch ein paar Glitches. Was ich damit meine ist, dass manchmal Fotos hängen oder abgeschnitten dargestellt werden. Ich bin also vermutlich zu unerfahren - und das ist mein Punkt. Bin ich Nerd genug um das zu reparieren wenn es mal irgendwo kaputt geht? (1/2)

#diday heute für meine Fotos abgeschlossen.
Alle Fotos und Videos von #icloud auf #immich umgezogen.
ca. 900 GB an Daten
49822 Fotos

Läuft in einer PVE - im LXC zuhause
Habe der LXC 8GB ram und 2 Kerne zugeordnet auf einem Intel N1xx Prozessor mit 4 Kernen ohne Grafikkarte. Alle Gesichter erkannt.
Läuft richtig gut.

4 Fotos/ Videos weigern sich beharrlich umzuziehen.
