I’m excited to be involved as much as I can from the start with @deadledger - we’re going to pay off a fuckload of student debt. #FuckDebt

It’s been a good week for the Dead Ledger Society!
Some very dear friends got some very terrible news. They can use all the help they can get. If you can help, thank you. If you can’t, that’s ok. If you feel like sharing, please do #FuckCancer #WhenBadThingsHappenToGoodPeople @gofundme #GoFundMeDonations
Update: I think LDN helps with at least the fibro fatigue, some of the time. If I forget to take my ADHD meds, or wake up too late to take them (extended release), usually I’m just a fatigue zombie all day. After about 2 months on LDN, I forgot my meds and actually had a semi-productive day! Still had some issues with attention/focus, but didn’t just sleep all day.
Since then though, I’ve had days when I do take ADHD meds, and I can nap all day. Being tired on ADHD stimulants is weird.
At any rate, just started new med. If it works for me, it may be the “magic pill” I’ve been wishing for.
And it’s weird because it’s low-dose naltrexone. Aka NARCAN. Yeah, the stuff they give to opiate addicts/alcoholics. But in significantly lower dosage (1.5-6 mg vs 50-100).
Been reading up on it and it’s kinda fascinating. Downside is having to get from compounding pharmacy so $$.

I really wish I had the spoons to keep up with birdsite and mastodon.
Recently got new diagnosis: #fibromyalgia
This is Heavy. Was tested 13-15 years ago, told I didn’t have it, wrote it off. New doc says test done then is old and busted, probably not done right anyhow. Did same (poke) test to demo and HOLY CRAP OW at each spot.
How much of what I’ve been dealing with since could be fibro? SO MUCH. How permanently broken am I due to treatments for things I might not have really needed? 😬
