If I've learnt anything over the last few years, it's that everything in life is a compromise between different things.
And recognizing what trade-offs you are making is often more important than the actual trade-off itself.
Because a better knowledge of the trade-off and its implications allows you to make better decisions.

Encourage your conference organisers to go in this direction. It's possible and some people are still trying to keep others safe and included.
