For context, I worked at a high level in a swing stage in' 24. The #Dems need a friggin' overhaul.
I've been thinking about those people who refused to vote for Harris because she was still pro-zionist or not far enough to the left or whatever other reasons they gave.
And I hear the argument about avoiding the middle road, but for many of us, this isn't a theoretical exercise in theory. The reality is that the outcome of that election has had a direct, measurable body count. While the Democrats are deeply flawed, the alternative has resulted in the blood of millions. Choosing not to act, or voting for a candidate with no path to victory, was a functional choice for the current administration and the destruction that followed.
Think about all the lives that have been lost because the left was apathetic. She was a bad candidate and I would not vote for her in a primary, but she was the best choice and now we are suffering for it.
When voters are given the chance to vote for Kamala Harris or Trump, and 77 million choose Trump and 90 million choose to stay home, the problem is they're morons, not that they're in a two party system.
That anyone thinks that Kamala acts like a Republican speaks to how well indoctrinated leftists have become. Kamala's voting record in the Senate was the second most liberal and her votes almost perfectly aligned with their lord and savor Bernie.
A common trait amongst MAGA and leftists is the prioritization of their beliefs over reality. Look at how leftists misrepresent Kamala's positions on Gaza, a simple 5 minute search on Google would relieve them of their beliefs.
Most recently I ran into a leftist who claimed that the Democrats refuse to call Republicans fascists. How do you interact with people when they have no desire to understand the truth and are willfully ignorant.

But Coates's eloquently acidic comments apply also to the broad base of Democrats. In 2024, many American friends endorsed #Kamala without acknowledging her criminal role in the genocide in Gaza.
American liberals and Democrats are now overwhelmingly a bunch of #WhineyGenociders: vocal about disruption to America, near-silent about the #genocide that America enables.
