@davefischer I vaguely recall seeing a TV movie or series Doc Savage long ago, starring, I think, Ron Ely, featuring Sousa music. Doc drove a Cord, first I'd heard of one, long since a fave. But I've not yet read one of the books.

A fireball, widely believed to be an exceptionally bright meteor, streaked across the sky over western Japan just after 11:00 p.m.

Maeda Toshihisa, the director of the Sendai Space Museum of Satsumasendai in Kagoshima Prefecture, stated that fireballs are caused by dust, fragments of asteroids, and other celestial objects burning up upon entering Earth’s atmosphere.
