Events of Christ's 'Passion', as portrayed in the beautiful stained glass window behind the high altar of Staindrop's Grade I listed church, dedicated to St Mary the Virgin, Co Durham.
From its beginnings as a humble Saxon church, the powerful Neville family had the place of worship substantially altered and enlarged right up until the end of the 14th century, which was the last time any major work was done on it.
