Sawblades are always a good idea! Just lying around in the middle of the path, moving back and forth like it’s the most natural thing in the world.
Maybe I’ll add one or two more obstacles, but overall I think I’m ready to start working on perks and upgrades.
Some progress for #screenshotsaturday! Worked on the campsites a bit and made a fun shader that lets me use Kenney's patterns for textures easier. Also started the campsite management bit, a lot to do on it but its started!
Was busy yesterday so pretend like its still #screenshotsaturday, but expanded on the inventory system a bit to prep for crafting. UI is obviously placeholders and WIP, but itll show your current item, what row is your hotbar, etc. Next step is crafting and camper assignments!
figured out what to do with drops. i want them to go straight into your inventory when you break something, but i also wanted a satisfying drop animation. so i decided to have both!
just don't look down, i haven't implemented the actual "going into inventory" part yet :'D
