I have all the markers for it, so it made sense. I was referred to a rheumatologist, who I told about all of my symptoms, including the extreme pain that I experienced whenever the weather shifted. She then told me that "Chronic illness doesn't care about the weather" and to "Come back when there was actually wrong with you". She gave me useless pain meds and sent me on her way. I went back to my doctor, who sent me to a pain clinic (yay).

So, after 4 years, I finally saw a doctor for all the issues I had been having (fainting, dizziness, joint pain, etc.). I got a bunch of blood work done, and it was sent to another doctor who asked me about COVID (I've had it 7 times). She told me about all the wacky ass things that COVID can do to someone's body. Lupus runs in my family, so she suggested it as being a possibility.
