Useful Silksong tip that I'm glad someone told me beforehand: don't pick up the mission 'the wailing mother' if you want to do Mount Fay. Because you can hear the wailing mother jibber-jabbering all through the Slab _and_ all through Mount Fay! Mount Fay is buttock-clenching enough; I'm glad I didn't have to do it to a soundtrack of 'oooaaargh wooaaargh'.

The Silksong Abyss Escape sequence is one of the best gaming set pieces I've played. It's also so intimidating that I never want to go through it again. I had to turn off the music to calm down enough to finally get through it. As a comment on Steam said, it's the sequence you've trained for the entire game.
