I'm not new to the Fediverse, but I've taken a long break after a bad experience. Patience may be needed.

Easily the best-looking Plasma theme out there, in my book. I have yet to find another one that understands both aesthetic beauty AND functionality/visibility the way this one does.

I can't be the only one who feels like Freetube is becoming less and less of an enjoyable experience, especially since the most recent updates to the video player?

I mean, I obviously don't blame the devs and contributors, I blame Google for continually making it hard on them... but still, it's becoming a painful experience. Videos reload randomly, you have to wait for a countdown and reload (and sometimes it gets stuck in a loop), etc. 🤷‍♂️

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this yet. I'm not against Brave finding ways to fund themselves but any time a company of any sort starts changing its business model, it worries me.

That said, I do like that their first change is one to basically only remove features that you can manually disable if you don't want them. I see people saying "pay to debloat" but I think it's more like a way of monetizing without hurting existing users.

Fascinating agate pseudomorph showcasing the complete replacement of original carbonate crystals by silica. The preserved crystal forms demonstrate how agate can perfectly mimic the morphology of dissolved minerals while maintaining structural integrity. Note the translucent chalcedony bands that formed during the replacement process, creating distinct optical zones. This specimen illustrates the delicate balance of chemical conditions required for pseudomorphic preservation - slow dissolution…

I never thought I'd be an Arch guy (and I'm still not, technically speaking, as I don't use vanilla Arch) but I have to admit, I'm at that point where I don't think I could daily drive a distro that isn't Arch-based. Pacman is just too good, and it is nice having faster updates despite some occasional breakage.

I find it really, really funny how older Windows games seem to work better on Linux than they do on modern Windows.
