Lunch break test of JPC-7 antenna with two coils + 5.5m whip. Tunes 80m-6m with SWR below 1.5 on most bands.
Not too bad result given today's conditions.

I have admit that the last thing I did back then was to catapult two of my old professors into space 😅 Yes, my uni had its own location in the world.

Lunchtime park bench portable, not the best conditions today however...
Setup is an auto-transfomer + tuning capacitor, 5.6m steel whip and random non resonant ground wire.
I haven't actually noticed much difference using a loading coil vs auto-transfomer in this configuration/setup.
Operation from my parents house in Norway last Christmas.
6m non conducitve fibre glass pole, 9:1 unun & remote ATU-100 (set to auto, power fed via bias-t).
ATU is modded, so it works from 2.5W... Used 100W.
Think I will replace the 9:1 with an switchable unun from 4:1 to 16:1.
Preparing some park bench portable op for tomorrow morning.
I could easily do a whole day, but don't think the weather will allow it.
FT817/batteries & accessories. 5.5m steel whip antenna + autotransformer... And Linux based tablet for digi-modes.
Might replace the small tripod with something else, but it does a good job... Especially when it's windy.
Painted my magloop antenna in Swedish style M90 camouflage pattern... Now it melts in with the background ;)
