Auf dem #easterhegg habe ich angefangen eine web-basierte Software für Remote-Betrieb am Trx zu bauen. So komplett mit der Idee der Barrierefreiheit, direkter Unterstützung digitaler Modi im Browser und Co.

SSB Betrieb ginge schon und andere Modi wie zB #FT8 sind auch nicht mehr weit weg. ABER das war für mich primär erstmal eine Übung in Frustbewältigung.

Um dAs weiterzubauen müsste ich erstmal nen Weg finden wie ich Zuhause zumindest eine Antenne hinbekomme. Das alles ist Aufwand und irgendwie Frage ich mich, ob das überhaupt jemand interessiert oder ob das jemand nutzen würde...

So heute morgen doch nochmal die Einbindung von #ft8 komplett überarbeitet und auf den großen Screen gezogen.

Mal schauen ob und wann ich was weiter bastel. Zuhause ohne Antenne geht das schlecht...

Did you know NASA Ground Control will be tracking Artemis II via the digital mode FT-4 once they go into earth orbit!

The weak signal condition digital protocol makes it perfect for this purpose.

FT-4 cycle time of 6 seconds is less than FT-8s 15. Combined with the approx. 2.5 second round trip time each transmission will take approx. 8.5 seconds.

That's pretty amazing for Amateur Radio!!

I’m #OffTheAir for a while. Needed to un- #HamRadio the office so I can disassemble the shack, remove the bulkhead SO-239s from the exterior wall, fill & patch, repaint, & shoot realtor photos.

I MIGHT set up the HF station out here in the back yard shed, where I’ve moved my day-job computer to. But I can’t leave that band-hopping on #FT8 24x7, nor the #APRS i-gate, because the ground rod is too far away for reasonable use of lightning arrestors. They’d be unhooked every evening.
