Discord is trying to sneak in unannounced privacy changes again.

A new beta feature called "Clips" allows voice chat to be recorded. You have to dig up the new setting and manually opt-out.

"I heard someone at the market say there are monsters walking along us."

"Monsters?"

"Masked, trying to appear as normal as you or I!"

I keep my expression neutral. "Yes, there are people wearing masks, but they're not the monsters."

"Then who are?"

"Those who make masks needed."

"there are only 2 sexes" then please explain this?
I love this so much <3

EDIT: See important context from visually impaired users in the replies!

Friendly reminder to help our visually impaired community: avoid hashtags in the middle of your posts

Many people use screen-readers. It can be annoyingly difficult to parse things like "I went to the hashtag store to buy some hashtag bread but I got hashtag screwed when the last loaf was hashtag sole doubt ha ha ha ha"

Please remember to put your hashtags at the end, and make sure to capitalize within the hashtag where appropriate!

I can't believe how much better my luck in hsr is compared to genshin

On genshin all my 5 stars have been obtained at like ~80 pity and with exactly 50% win rate on the 50/50

On hsr I decided to save my stellar jades for silver wolf but did one roll on Huo Huo's banner for fun and got Huo Huo though I'm not sure how high my pity was. So then I was feeling nervous about silver wolf cause I only had 37 tickets. Started rolling on the banner and literally my 3rd roll was silver wolf

At least I can focus grinding genshin now for Cyno

So basically what I'm saying is, if you try your best (and you have good professors [not much you can do if you have a bad prof]) your professors will notice so that if you are genuinely struggling they are going to go out of their way to help you because they want you to succeed

One of the best things I have learned over the course of my graduate degree is to talk to your professors. Build a rapport with them so that if you are struggling you can ask them for help

Examples: I've always been close with some of my teachers all through school, but I always felt that since I've been told I am very smart I have to do things on my own. This meant that if I was struggling I would consider myself lazy instead of seeking help. Now, I've had a busy couple of weeks and have been stressing about finals. So I just explained the situation to my prof and he gave me a 2 day extension!!!

Also, the website is now blocking us from sending clients phone numbers or websites. The obvious intent is to prevent people from being able to book directly, but it also means that I can't give guests the information for other businesses like bike shops or restaurants and instead have to tell them "here's the name of the thing I recommend, look it up yourself because this platform won't let me give you the direct contact information" which just makes things sound incredibly shady. They even blacklisted the word google so that if I send it, it looks like a bunch of dashes

So after my boss and I called the company together, the next day they changed it back, but apparently that was only temporary cause today I log into the website and they've put it back to the changed version but now they kept the customer's phone number...

Like what the heck?! I was very clear during the call that the entire update was a travesty made by someone who obviously doesn't use the website and apparently what they took away was "the update is fine, just let us actually be able to contact customers" like no! I need years on payments since some people book multiple years in advance and the whole thing is ugly and unusable...!
