The monsters, imo, are the ones who make me have to wear masks, for my personal safety.
The figurative ones I was expected to wear, since my birth, are more painful to me, than the physical ones I wear this year (2024).

In the grocery store this weekend someone banged the dairy case from inside and made sounds at me like a zombie, i assume because of my mask
When i left the store a man was walking in looking like 6 feet of death on stilts, wobbling and dragging his feet with a confused look. HE actually looked like a zombie, and HE was NOT wearing a mask.
