"Black women's unemployment is rising."🤡

All by itself? Magically?

The entire US, Dem and GOP, is going on close to 24 months straight of being publicly and loudly anti-civil rights (anti-DEI).

"Black women are more likely to work in the departments targeted by DOGE."

is like saying,

"Harbor seals are more likely to be found swimming in the water that happens to be rushing into a great white shark's rapidly opening mouth."🤡

Dudes have been open and vocal about their desire to drive Black women out of leadership positions in the federal government, higher education, and private industry. That's their goal.

And yet, we still talk about these outcomes as if they're just an unfortunate side effect of generalized downturns.

@georgetakei As a German I was grown with the phrase "never again". But I would have never believed that the US really one day would fall to the Nazis.
The "Free world" lost its biggest member.
I really hope you can turn it around - my fear still is very big.

I would hate to have the only thing I have from that far back in my personal history taken from me. It even has all kinds of little skeptic notes I wrote when discovering questionable or contradictory passages.

I've always been a great fan of Hannah Arendt and her theory of the banality of evil.
But it's just one part of the puzzle that explains the hundreds of thousands of nazis.
