I feel like I complain about this a lot but I'm still annoyed that I don't have a good way to connect with friends and acquaintances that doesn't involve a dozen text threads and bulk emails now that Facebook is dying. I can either share to the world or I have to reach out to a bunch of people individually or in small groups in a ton of different channels. None of the new social media is based on people I actually know.
I don't want to invite the whole world to a dinner party at my house!
We associate #trolling with #edgelord #bigotry
But a #troll can do good

I just finished reading my 5 year old The Lightning Thief. He really enjoyed it even if it probably was a bit too old for him at times.
Though I keep laughing because I think the real impetus for me to try this book was the length. We've been doing A to Z Mysteries and Dragon Masters and such and trying to queue up the next 4 books at the library in order when we were often finishing 1+ a day was killing me. Having a book last for days on end was magical. 🤣

I appreciate the call screening on my Google Pixel. But I just got a call recording where two "AI's" talked over each other for the whole thing. Google was asking them what they're calling about and Libby, an AI assistant for a children's bouncy castle place we went to two years ago, was asking about my kid's plans for their next birthday.
