The wii shop music to shibuya-kei pipeline
This game reminds me of when destructible environments were a big selling point. They even grade you higher if you destroy every object in a stage, which seems silly when you start spending more time wacking dozens of trees in every stage than fighting enemies. Feels pretty good to send enemies flying through stuff when you can tho.
I like how every stage has a new enemy you can read about with cool artwork. While playing this stage, I realized the vibe of the music and hazy graphics reminds me a lot of the twilight realm from Twilight Princess. Even tho the combat is meh so far, I enjoy how every level has something unique about it, and they are pretty tightly designed.
Started playing From Softwares's Otogi for the first time after fixing my xbox disc drive yesterday. Main dude looks cool and the music and atmosphere are really good. Combat seems kinda shallow so far tho. I went into the options to try and uninvert the camera controls to no avail but there is an option to "give up" lol

This a WIP of a boss sprite that I did a while ago when I was testing a 3d to pixel art workflow in blender. Surprisingly needs very little clean up to match the style of my hand drawn sprites.

Been working on a vertex lighting shader inspired by Vagrant Story, as an art trade with my pal @lovelyMia. My first shader done purely in Graphical C and HLSL!

It supports up to 8 simultaneous vertex lights, and optionally ignores surface normals, so light wraps around a character regardless of source direction. It also draws a textured, offset inverse hull in a second pass that creates a pseudo-rim-lighting effect. Very pleased with not only how lean it is, but also how nice it looks!

I have recently discovered that I really enjoy animating blood

Been messing around with the shutter speed and focus to try and take better pictures of games on my #crt tv as I play through them.
