After months of sorting more than 50k bricks & numerous weekends of building, my son & I finished the #Lego Millennium Falcon™ (75192) last weekend.
Made of around 7.5k colorful bricks & weighing around 13kg in total. Our greatest Lego project ever.
Out of the 7.5k bricks we had 6.5k in our stocks & ordered the rest. Believing in #sustainability we reused most of the bricks we already had.

Please boost, if want to color up someone else's day! 🚀🌈

Today I finally installed a private commission & tribute to the #cycling legend Reg Harris OBE. Took me a while to weld this all up but pleased the #birds seem as happy with it as I am! Reg won 2 Olympic silver medals in 1948, followed by 4 World Championships in 49,50,51 & 54 then in 1974 came out of retirement to win the British National Sprint Championship aged 54! as I said absolute #LEGEND ! #Fabrication #Sculpture #Portrait #Recycling #Upcycling #ILoveBicycles #Cycles #Muscles
This sloth.. 💪
Sanne Cant may be no match for the fastest women in international competitions anymore, but within Belgium she still reigns women's #cyclocross: She wins her 14th (!) consecutive national title after a long and demanding race in the mud.
Marion Norbert Riberolle rebounded after a number of mechanical issues early on in the race to take the Silver medal with Alicia Franck in 3rd.
More racing tomorrow!

Stolen Bike
Last Friday - 6th January, 10.15- I was mugged whilst cycling through #Hackney #London to Kings Cross and my lovely pink #Brompton was #stolen. I was threatened but not physically harmed. I was very shaken up but am now feeling stronger and able to start posting about the bike. Please repost and share on bike forums.

Bike: Pink Brompton C Line Explore - 6 gears. With a rear rack and an extending seat post. Has adapted cork wide handlebar grips which are unusual.#bike

Sometimes #cycling advocacy is all fun and games. It's Friday and I know you want to play 'Tour de Baguette'! See how many baguettes can stay on your bike while you cycle around sheep, puddles, farmers and trees.

Baguette Sprint - Google Arts & Culture

How many baguettes can you collect?

In Poland, waxwing birds love to eat fermented fruit, get drunk and then lie insensible on the pavement.
People collect them and put them in a safe place until they sober up... #OurBeautifulWorld
Thanks to @StateofPoland for the photo.
“Good day, sir. I’d heard you’d recently come into possession of some bread. I see that I was not misinformed. As it so happens, I too enjoy baked goods. Might you be persuaded to part with a small percentage? I would of course offer fair compensation at the current market rate.”

At a time we're seeing a growth of social media that is a labour of love rather than a megalomaniac's tantrum, may I promote a site for those of a vaguely athletic bent - https://www.fetcheveryone.com/.

It's a great place to log runs/rides/swims, analyse data, plot routes, or just chat away. It's all free, largely supported by those who like what it's very friendly and responsive owner is doing. Take a look.
