I was volunteer time-keeper at Woodley parkrun this morning. So, no running for me today. It was good to see so many people braving the colder weather, especially wearing shorts.

Tonight I ran a 10K distance for fun, and for tempo training. I turned it into my personal race to make up for the 10k 2 weeks ago that was short. And now I have my 3rd fastest ever time on the distance 😊 (Thanks to #Fetcheveryone log details!)

I think training is going well, so chip in for my fundraiser where I run a marathon and you donate money, and together we beat cancer!

De Wase Marathon – Ik kom op tegen kanker | Polifinario

The race was a little tougher than I was expecting. My time of 1h 09m is comparable to my current parkrun times, but way slower than my PB.

My thanks to #BarnesFitness for organising and Chris Drew for the photographs.

I'm heading out to run the #Wokingham 10km this morning, and of course its raining.

Today I visited #BlackPark #parkrun as it was my #nendy. A well-attended, one lap course along woodland trails. There's plenty of parking with a coffee shop and toilets. I will be coming back.

Another #parkrun completed. This week, I was back at #Bracknell parkrun with a colleague from work.

I introduced him to event in chats at work and now he's bringing the whole family.

My time was consistent for that course, at 32:16.

Some number crunching done by Ian from #fetcheveryone on walking/running ratio's at Ultra events. Nice reading.

How much walking will I do? - a blog by fetcheveryone

In case I haven't banged on about it enough, this November I am doing Escape from Meriden: escapefrommeriden.co.uk - it's a 24 hour race whe...

Lazy Sunday afternoon run. I ran 6km at 6:30 per kilometer. No aches and pains so all good to continue training.

I have entered my first race since 2019. A local 10km being held in just 7 weeks.

My target time is 70 minutes, which is 10 minutes slower than my 2019 times, but let's not be too ambitious.

New Year's Day #parkrun completed. My 5th visit to a muddy 2-lap #Bracknell course. It definitely cleared the cobwebs.

Another #parkrun completed. That's 163 times around the 3-lap course at #Woodley, a fair few wet and muddy like today's run. I am happy with today's time of 32:32 as I wasn't really "feeling it" and had a twinge in my back between my shoulders. Feeling much better now that I've run. #FetchEveryone #LoveParkrun #Suunto #Running
