As more of the weather community migrates to the fediverse, I thought I would share my favorite tornado photo.

I'm not one to get in the 'bear's cage' when I go storm chasing (driving into the tornado-forming region of a storm), but have been able to get some safe views from a distance!

This tornado that churned up a good amount of red dirt over open land near Honey Grove, Texas, USA occurred on 24 April 2020.

Freezing fog was lingering yesterday, so I took a quick dart to local woods. While wandering I spotted this scene.

I have a habit of reading a lot into the shapes of trees, seeing characters in them that might just be my own overactive imagination. This seemed to me like some menacing creature, perhaps one of Tolkien's Nazgul, closing in on its terrified prey.
