I've decided to stop lumping all my #PaintedSkies into gallery posts/threads. It shows that I worry they don't stand alone as single images. Maybe they do, maybe they don't - but the same could be true of many of my landscapes!

Quite a grey day, but some nice textures before the rain flattened everything out. There was even a rather sinister character who appeared for a few moments...

The sky certainly put on a show tonight. Sunlight coming in through Saharan dust, catching on wonderfully textured clouds, including a patch of mammatus which rather stole the show!
