Usually, the passing between one caretaker to a new one was an exciting occasion, where billions of nanos met new host that would keep them safe... but as they heard the unfathomably large tabby first speak to them, the world that had been based in logic and science were shaken.
"Worship me." The cat said softly.
The elected leader of the nanos was perturbed, unsure if he heard the giant correctly. It was unusual that a caretaker speak so directly to nanos, let alone order them around. As he began to question the demand, the caretaker rolled his eyes.
With an eerie casualness, the colossal feline raised a finger above their miniature continent. For a brief moment the sky was replaced with an endless field of ridges as deep canyons that could fit entire cities between them, looming overhead for a fraction of a second before--
*crunch*
He twisted his finger in place till he no longer felt a crunch. As he lifted it nothing but a smear remained of that part of the continent and smudge on the cat's finger. With a calm smile, he glanced down at the remains of the nano world. "Whoever is in charge next, you have the same order."
