The U.S. government has given its blessing for restaurants to allow pet dogs in their outdoor spaces. But many won't be taking up the opportunity, saying that bad doggy behavior like stealing food or excessive barking is a problem, and citing the need to protect customers with allergies or phobias. Since other social media have decided to censor #TurkeyElections today I hope this can be a moment for the #Fediverse to step up.
I'll be following and boosting the election hashtags, including #Turkey, #Turkiye, #TurkishElections and #Seçim2023.
I hope you will as well - and be extra welcoming to any from Turkey who have just started posting for today's election.
The coming weeks will also likely see repression as #Erdogan tries to steal the election.
@neilhimself released one heck of an album.
