Surveillance under Surveillance is a map that identifies the location of surveillance cameras and the area under surveillance.

Anyone can update the map with surveillance camera locations around the world.

The map is based on OpenStreetMap but the data is not visualized on OpenStreetMap.org.

I still believe in the need for UN Climate Change Conferences, but it's hard not to be cynical given that:

1. More than half the CO₂ emissions of the industrial age have occurred since the first COP.

2. It took 28 COPs to point out the obvious (i.e., fossil fuels are the problem).

Ich habe gerade in einem Buch als Randnotiz über James Cook gelesen, dachte mir, der hat doch bestimmt eine unschöne kolonialistische Vergangenheit.
Schaue mal auf Wikipedia, zumindest im deutschsprachigen Wikipedia ist die kolonialistische Gewalt nicht mehr als eine Randnotiz, Cook werden fast nur positive Eigenschaften zugesprochen.
Ich suchte weiter und fand diesen ausgezeichneten interaktiven Bericht über den gewaltsamen Umgang mit indigenen Völkern:
