Sometimes when people put their hard work into building an app for free, they don’t also want to pay $99 a year so that some bullshit company can profit off of the app developers hard work.
iOS developers are REQUIRED to own a mac and are REQUIRED to pay apple $99 a year. That means it is more costly to develop open source for iOS or any apple product. That’s why apple is terrible.

I'm now informed that it demonstrates a lack of empathy to ask journalists and their employers -- who have social media options -- why they continue to support a site that elevates extremists and hates honorable journalism.
Of course they have their reasons, which obviously make sense to them.
Would they pour their work into a social network run by the Murdoch family's Fox "News" or Trump's absurdly named "Truth" Social?
There are alternatives. But journalists have made unfortunate choices.
Remember this picture every single time you hear someone in your city say "we're not Amsterdam."
