Sometimes when people put their hard work into building an app for free, they don’t also want to pay $99 a year so that some bullshit company can profit off of the app developers hard work.
iOS developers are REQUIRED to own a mac and are REQUIRED to pay apple $99 a year. That means it is more costly to develop open source for iOS or any apple product. That’s why apple is terrible.

Premise: do not take it too seriously. I'm now informed that it demonstrates a lack of empathy to ask journalists and their employers -- who have social media options -- why they continue to support a site that elevates extremists and hates honorable journalism.
Of course they have their reasons, which obviously make sense to them.
Would they pour their work into a social network run by the Murdoch family's Fox "News" or Trump's absurdly named "Truth" Social?
There are alternatives. But journalists have made unfortunate choices.
