Want to issue an apology to Simeon Schmauß @[email protected]

Back on August 5, 2023 Simeon posted this fantastic image of the Curiosity rover he processed (https://fosstodon.org/@stim3on/110839178786376410) to celebrate its 11th birthday.

The image was used in this post, but failed to credit Simeon, thinking it was a NASA image, and failed to notice when Simeon called attention to the attribution failure. It's the policy of this account to always credit content sources, and deeply regret the mistake in this case.

Great question! Every Mars year lasts 668 sols (Mars days) — or 687 Earth days, so think it is 5 Mars years and 568 sols. 🤔
