General tomfoolery and hooliganism
It just somehow gets worse in ways I could never dream up. Like there's a big cauldron where a bunch of bad ideas are cooking away and every once in a while someone comes in with a huge ladle and scoops out... hmmm... big tech execs and... oh great! Army National Guard!
Yes. The National Guard is bringing in executives from Meta, OpenAI, and Palentir as Lt. Colonels.

@TSBremer @GPJohnston I spent 10 years with the NPS, and I've been talking about this for most of that time. The future I see is an ostensibly "public agency" that is largely run by private entities like Xanterra and Aramark.
Maybe one or two park rangers who supervise private contractors that are paid minimum wage but make their employer an outsized portion of the park's profits.
This is already happening in campgrounds, especially in places like Yellowstone.
