Thanks to the pep talk from @jake4480 and @ishambard I've decided to provide a little snapshot of the rp:

Welcome to The Coeur De Noir

You have found yourself here, at the Coeur De Noir, a mysterious lounge that beckons to you from its initial invitation: enveloping you in a subtle embrace with dominant notes of still-wet ink, velvety smooth piano and delicious conversation; coming in for a drink and for the whispers of time travel.

This is a strange place, where only an elite few are summoned with a mysterious invitation. Its name is known in whispers, but no one is certain whether these are merely rumours or the truth sown by secretive members, whose presence or membership remains unconfirmed.

Only one truth exists: a woman with soft brown hair and soft blue eyes tinged with sadness, who hides her ruby red smile under an oversized hat.

You are here, intrigued by the lure of it all, the invitation, buried within the folds of your pocket along with the secrets of your own....

So, despite having the attention span of a crow with a shiny thing at times, I have been cooking up a new bit of creativity for a while.

Diving back into the realms of #imvu I found myself nostalgic for turn based, forum roleplays and have thought to myself, what if I were to create one that folks could join on #discord ?

So, I’ve created a server, started making the backstory, the locations, and a character for myself - as well as painstakingly working with emojis and ai to design my character art and now comes the difficult part - trying to encourage people to join in and stuffs.

Is this normal?

@EmmalenaLEllis

I don't need to go to Avian Resources, no.
But surely a crow would go to Corvid Resources? Perhaps?

shoutout to all the archivists

So, one of the things my Wife got me for my birthday was a cuddly toy Crow, which she also got a little plaid shirt for it to wear.

This makes me unreasonably happy!

So, as a surprise, some friends of ours invited us to a nearby seaside town for a day out. In the UK, there are a handful of things you do at the seaside... Most of which don't involve actually going into the sea.

Fish and chips, ice cream... But most importantly, the arcades. More importantly still, the 2p machines.

For the uninitiated, these machines have pushers that as you dump hundreds of 2p coins into them, push the coins into a fat stack of 2ps, the aim being to push the existing coins into the machine to the hole at the end. As well as "winning" back coins, these machines have prizes inside them. Usually cheap plastic tat.

But one of the machines I decided to hit up had fake lego dinosaurs. And through no real skill, just chucking money at it, I managed to acquire a complete set of fake lego dinosaurs.

I look forward to putting these together soon.

@ishambard and I were looking into making some more paper crafts again to go with our window displays and were inspired by the lovely idea of https://www.instagram.com/mila.pn?igsh=MWVuNjk5NnN3eDBpNQ== and her little fox puppets, which combine charm, whimsy and our favourite woodland friends. So aided by one of our own little foxes of our own we have made a set of four. Fox loved helping to model them and colour them in 🙂 Check out Mila’s page for the original craft #foxpuppet #foxlovers #papercraft #paperfox #toiletrollcraft #dualmarkers #craftingfun #handmadewithlove #mila.pn #angeloandrenato #duxsomniumgames #splitstonegames #lafleur #boardgamesunday #mymansam #ilovefoxes

So, today, the wife @EmmalenaLEllis and I had a bit of an arts and crafts morning.

We made little foxes out of an old toilet paper tube.

This was an idea that she found on Instagram, from fox puppet content maker, Mila.Pn

We used markers and a white pencil to colour colour them in.

I think they came out looking very cute, definitely a craft that can be done with kids and could be a really good time.
