I tried making some "blanks" to get rid of this scrungly old book I bought. One I used diluted mod podge on the base layer and it went super bubbly. The other I used Nearly Art glue but didn't spread it all over and it also went bubbly. I wouldn't mind the crinkling but the air bubbles annoyed me. I have managed to fix some by slicing through and injecting glue but still annoying. I guess the answer is to use thicker glue and spread it all over?

Anyone know wth these are? I couldn't see them properly in the bag, I thought they were paperclips but they're joined together in a kind of pyramid. Photo holders? Seems weak. I might cut them and try to make them into normal paperclips cos they're kinda cool.

My brother said that my nephew likes dinosaurs. I work in Japantown and got an origami dinosaur kit yesterday. Nephew is four so I made four of them. They will probably be destroyed soon. There is more origami paper in the kit but I'm leaving the up to my brother and my sister-in-law to do. I hope this makes me a good aunt. #Origami #PaperCraft

I feel quite defeated with these Columbines...

I followed B. Domangue's diagram (https://leafpiece.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/columbine_diagram_2013.pdf). The flowers were okay, although I wish I could get them to have five petals. The real pain lies in the stems and the leaves. A4 printer paper struggles to grab my green watercolour paint, as always, and without wires, the long paper stems really are fragile. In the end the result is just okayish.

Anyway, it's Columbines' season again...
