Improved day and night cycle (won't be as quick obviously, that's just for demonstration)
And started working on state/mood system, the character will be able to do some things on her own without player control (e.g if she's starving she's going to eat whatever she has in her inventory, if she wants to sleep she's going to find nearby bed and sleep, etc)

I'm working on a game that is inspired by anime/manga Girl's last tour!
You'll explore post-apocalyptic world with a harsh snowy environment and try to piece together what happened.
You'll have to find food, stay warm and not let your character go insane!
Every building will be exploitable, no invisible walls anywhere.
(Screenshots are heavily WIP, most buildings don't have interior just yet)

Started working on the prototype.
Implemented a simple lobby system and a basic gameplay loop.
Working on the multiplayer is a bit of a head scratcher. But I'm getting into it.
"Smart Join" is trying to establish the connection to each of my friends zerotier IPs and then connects to whoever responds, there might be a better way, but that will do.

I promised i would show what i was working on this week, so here it is.
All art and effects are placeholder for now.
At this point I might start adding new interesting abilities and enemy types instead of adding new mechanics.
Still haven't figure out the story or the art style.
Day 10
Working on the end screen
Added one new level
Made a shortlist of things needed to finish the prototype.
I'm a bit sick right now so updates will be a bit short until I recover.

Day 9
Added 3 new levels
You can now hook in any direction.
Added keys and doors.
That's it, short but sweet.
I will take a short 2 day break, so no updates for that time.
After the break I will compile a shortlist of things still needed and will try to complete all of them.
At the end there should be a playable, although a bit junky prototype which I will upload to itch.

Day 8
Added a new short level.
Added a ring that replenishes your ability to jump.
Added laser that constantly rotates, if you stay in the laser it instantly kills you.
Added a new ability that smacks you to the ground, however, you can't control the character while in the air. Useful when you want to reduce your x velocity immediately.
I'm mostly satisfied with amount of mechanics for now.
Tomorrow I will work further on level design.

Having fun speedrunning my game, I think I'm onto something.
Now considering adding a speedrun timer, I think that might be fun!
Still want to squeeze a couple new mechanics and then I will move onto level design.
