Long-time tooters have been explaining that it's polite to use #ContentWarnings when posting about stress-inducing politics, and I have done so; I often check social media late at night when I really just want to unwind, so I get where they're coming from.
My question is: should we do the same with posts about OFSTED and other teaching gripes? Just saw a post about inspections/pointless paperwork, and I'd rather be here to gain inspiration than dwell on that. #EduTooter #EduToot

I used to #follow lots of #celebrities on other #SocialMedia but when I arrived here, I just started following people with similar interests to me, and I realised that it is a much more satisfying and relaxing experience.
I used to laugh a lot at #parody accounts too, but I just saw one that had been boosted by someone I follow, and I felt compelled to block it immediately. I doesn't appeal to me to try to duplicate previous experiences here.

We will be celebrating the start of the World Cup in the school I teach at by joining in the Urdd jambori. I will be singing my heart out of course, but inside I am very uneasy about promoting an event being hosted by a state that would imprison or execute me because of my sexual orientation. I intend to teach a discussion lesson about #HumanRights in Qatar next week, but researching and planning it is aggravating me!
