Announcing coming in October - Carnivore!

A short Horror Game where you play a cute defenseless sheep.

This is a very different kind of story from what I usually do. I am taking additional time to put it together. I have no idea if it will even work.

#indiegames #horrorgame #horrorgaming

I just wanna make horror games where BAD THINGS happen to CUTE THINGS :)

I knew #cats could have their blood pressure taken, but it only just occurred me today to look up photos of it, and they are even better than I imagined.

Not only do they have tiny blood pressure cuffs, they can take their pressure either on their legs or on their TAILS‽

This is, presumably, not a recommended technique.

#cats

@dan oh noo not the blood pressure of the tail
@dev @dan kiki must have somehow seen this picture, I have a cuff just like this and she treats it like her arch nemesis
@dan i'm probably going to hell for laughing like a maniac for this one
@dan thank u for sharing this!
@dan adorable! Especially the leg ones
@dan That first one looks like she's about four seconds from murder mode

@dan

That first cat's owner better not plan on sleeping anytime soon....

@dan whoa whoa whoa back up there a sec. Cat # 2 has pink claws?
@mikechislett @dan I suspect they are those rubber tips people put on the claws to prevent furniture destruction.
@dan It wasn't until AFTER my cat went blind in 2018 that the vet told me it was "probably" from high blood pressure and that senior cats should routinely have their blood pressure checked. I've lived with cats and been servants of cats for over 40 years and that was the first I'd heard of it.

@dan

If you used one on the part-human/part-cat sculpture in Egypt, would it be a sphynxmomanometer?

@dan huh, funny, this cat *points pass at himself* got his blood pressure taken today.
@dan I have no idea of that.
@dan It blows my mind that cat blood pressure is in roughly the same range as human blood pressure. I guess it shouldn't be that surprising, our hearts, lungs, veins, and arteries work the same way, but I guess I expected the size difference to have more of an impact somehow?
@dan I bet tail readings are detectably higher, just from feline annoyance at having their tail touched.
@dan i have one of those fingertip blood-oxygen sensors, and on several different occasions I clipped it to a cat tail and it produces an ERR 7, which we have decided means "this is a cat tail."
@dan ok, but who is responsible for their Health Data Privacy ? #animalPHI
@dan at least three of them have a serious "someone's gonna pay for that" look ^^
@dan
awwww! (also the first pic shows pretty low blood pressure and pulse for a cat? I guess they just used some "normal" values for humans?)
@dan @futurebird Based on my experience these cats all seem too cooperative and mellow.
