Every morning for half a year now. I spend an hour at a store (#Biltema) near my work, drinking coffee. And every morning, the cleaning guy tells me I can't sit down (except mornings he's sick), because he hasn't cleaned the floors of the cafeteria yet, which he does one hour later...
Well, not to be that guy. I mean, not to be spiteful and happy someone lost their job, but, I definitely am ready to welcome our new #dalek overlords exterminating the floor dirt.
Still obsesseing over #TigerAndDragon, a modern variety of the #japanese #boardgame #Goita. It was the second game I pulled out, a lot of groans initially, but everyone fell in love by the 4th round.
We ended up playing it in partnership mode for almost 2 days straight. All other games I threw on the table got a turn only for everyone to beg for Tiger & Dragon to come back.
Why its gotten as low as it has on #BGG? The tactile feel of the components alone adds dimension and variety over #Tichu!
My 4yo just designed his first game and it's actually functional. See, you each get a large d6 die, and you have to roll them into the triangle he drew on the A4 sheet. If its not in the triangle, then you lose (unless both miss, then you go again). But here's the kicker, you can knock the other player's dice out. If both are touching the triangle, then the highest roll wins.
Got to play #TigerAndDragon by #OINK with 3 players today. It was just as enjoyable as with 2.
Of course, my Mom beat the crap out of us 5/6 times. Which might be why she loved the game just as much as we do!
This game might have become a bit of an obsession for me lol.
Gave #TigerAndDragon from #OinkGames a couple of rounds and honestly, it's fantastic! Definitely top10 potential for me personally! Tactile mahjong pieces also enhances the feel and impression. Wifes first try opinion was lukewarm, she liked the simple rules yet a sense of underlying depth, however she felt the game probably has a lot more to offer in team or a full scale match with 5 players. We're gonna try that when we get a chance!
I might have gone a little crazy on #japanese #boardgames. 4 new #Oink titles (#Insider, #Startups, #DeepSeaAdventure, #TigerAndDragon) plus #Photograph which I managed to secure from Spain right before the trip as well as #CatInTheBox borrowed from my work - gonna try it and see if its as good as it looks!
#Scout i've had since long. It's such a good game though; and on topic of it, Tiger & Dragon gives off total Scout vibes from what I can see. Super hyped, hoping to get it to the table soon!
apparently #digg got fucked by bots. they shut it down to "re-imagining" social media to try and launch something innovative and new instead of adjacent.
seeing how fast they killed it off, let's hope it's not another google+ (which was great!).
one thing about the modern web tho... why tf is everything SO FKN SLOW? like, the connection got a million times faster, but the #codebase is so bloated our current online experience is equivalent to a 56k modem throwback.
