🚀 AI coding is here and version control is now "Branching" - because who doesn't want their AI and human code to tango every few seconds? 🤖✨ No more pesky "push" or "pull" commands; just some magical syncing that promises to resolve conflicts faster than your brain can process the absurdity. Meanwhile, your #codebase becomes a live-action sitcom starring you, your teammates, and your new AI overlords. 🎭💻

There’s a Better Way to Code with AI

Every developer I know has the same frustrating ritual. Open Claude Code or Cursor and ask it to do a task. The AI gives you generic code, sometimes useful (but usually not). You correct it. It apologizes. You explain again, with additional context. Rinse, repeat, until you want to throw your laptop out the window. David Cramer from Sentry recently shared his AI workflow where he maintains manual rules files to give LLMs context. Solid approach, but it feels like too much copy-pasting. It’s 2025, and machines can do a better job of remembering things. It’s funny how we’ve built the most powerful reasoning systems in human history, then lobotomized them by making them forget everything after each conversation. My question: is there a better way?

🐍 #Python can now summon the mystical powers of #Mojo, because who wouldn't want to add more #chaos to their codebase? 🤦‍♂️ It's like giving a toddler a chainsaw and expecting a fine sculpture. 🎨🔪

Python can run Mojo now

Chris Lattner mentioned that Python can actually call Mojo code now. I love this idea (!) as I'm definitely in the market for a simple compiled language that can offer Python some really fast functions.

I made so much progress yesterday. I've completely restructured the #codebase, improved the #performance, added logging with loglevels, and worked a bit on the webui. I still have a lot of work to do, but the project is a lot of fun and i really want to realize this. Can't wait to release the first alpha version. Who knows, maybe this becomes a cool community project. It will be extensible and flexible, so that might be realistic.

🤖 Ah, yet another tech bro claiming they've achieved the holy grail of perfect #codebase memory with their #AI. 🚀 Spoiler: it's just a glorified search tool with a sprinkle of #buzzwords, and no, it won't write your code for you. 💻👻

Cline doesn't index your #codebase because, apparently, the world hasn't ended without it yet. 🤔 Instead, it offers a 5-minute read on why you're better off without state-of-the-art "RAG" #technology, while simultaneously promoting itself like a used car salesman at a carnival! 🎪🚗

Why Cline Doesn't Index Your Codebase (And Why That's a Good Thing) - Cline Blog

Here's a common question we get from prospective Cline users: "How does Cline handle large codebases? Do you use RAG to index everything?" It's a reasonable question. Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) has become the go-to solution for giving AI systems access to large knowledge bases. But for Cline, we've taken a deliberately different path. We don't index your codebase, and this choice isn't an oversight's a fundamental design decision that delivers better code quality, stronger security, a

😆 Behold, folks: yet another #GitHub repository promising to simulate high-minded theoretical physics using Python! Just what we needed, a #codebase no one will read, masquerading as an academic breakthrough while serving as a shrine to the "Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V" gods. 🏗️🐍

Why bother with the Sisyphean task of migrating from Prettier and ESLint to #BiomeJS when you can just use a 🪓 to #refactor your entire codebase? It's like trading your bicycle for a tricycle and expecting to win the Tour de France. 🚴‍♂️💨
