This is a close look at the polished, ram's horn slabs on a skinning knife I am working on. The black spots are carbon fiber pins, very strong, very light weight and very easy to work with hand tools. Well, here is the current W.I.P. This chef's knife was hand forged from a LaBelle farriers rasp and has a solid brass bolster and Juma hilting block. I still need to finish the fine shaping on the hilt and bolster, then do final polish on everything, acetone and etch our mark into the blade, then put an edge on it.
