I made a little test piece for what I'm calling a "wine glass stake". The plan is to drive it into the ground and put a stemmed wine glass on top. I'm happy with how it turned out. I eyeballed it, so I was happy when I got it home and a wine glass fit perfectly.

I've been working in something a little different lately, making a sheathe for some knives I made about a year and change ago. I really like how the first one came out, and have already begun on one for my sword. Unfortunately I don't have punches I like for a pattern on the whole sword sheathe, so I'll have to wait a bit to finish that.

It’s cool and rainy today, so I fired up the forge for the first time in ages.

I had planned to make something else but didn’t have the right stock, so instead I made this ringed J hook.
