I started a web page in ‘93. (It’s still there, but not updated since c.2006). About a week or so after going live it showed up on #Mosaic’s top 1000 page for a day or two.

This beautiful piece of architectural artwork is one of a pair of mosaic peacocks over the entrance to Salmon and Gillespie's 1899 Glasgow Style Savings Bank building on Argyle Street in the Anderston area of the city.

Saw a big #mosaic in an art place near me - immediately wanted to do some of that. In cheap shop saw about 1,000 little coloured fish tank pebbles for £1.19. Billy bargain!

Perfect for me as they are all shapes and sizes to make a more 3D mosaic. Just a trial piece on 3 inch canvas with rear filled with plaster of Paris.

Soooo much fun!

Love this rather cute unicorn mosaic on a bollard on Park Road in Glasgow. It's little things like this that really help bring an area to life and give it a unique feel.
