Bryan FinkIt turns out that I had misplaced the original video file for this one. I had to download YouTube's copy to put it on MakerTube. I was a little skeptical of the file size I got from YT, but then I looked at the original publish date, and remembered that I was dealing with a terrible internet connection offering me only a few kilobits of upload speed at the time, so I made the video as small as I could. I'm almost tempted to dig deeper into backups to see if I may have the original iMovie file on a TimeMachine drive in order to re-export now.

Making a Kitchen Knife
Kristaps LiepinsLately I haven't had much work, so I've had some time to spend in my workshop and I've decided to try and make some foldable knives. Here is the first one. It more of a "proof of concept" that I can do it, but it's still a usable knife.

Dr Micha Campbell#ArtEveryDay went outside today for a knife making workshop. Really more knife assembling, as we didn't do the metalwork, but still a great day out with a friendly group of strangers who didn't mind that I spreak German like a 2 yr old.

This is something of an experiment for me. Normally I make knives from stainless steel (AEB-L or NitroV) because I give them as gifts.
