Water-wheel driven tilt hammers at the Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet, Sheffield, UK. This place is a preserved scythe manufacturing site, 18thC and earlier. Crucible-steel making, forging, assembly and grinding all on one site.
Lots going on today, 28th Mar. demonstrations of blacksmithing, wood turning, grinding etc. Live music, guided tours. No water wheels in action, though as the dam is being repaired.

Il risultato è meno schifoso di quanto potrebbe sembrare.
Naturalmente dopo una passata di disco lamellare, che prima ricordava molto ciò che si trova nei fazzoletti quando si ha il raffreddore.
Direi che una seconda mano di #saldatura non è necessaria, non sono parti strutturali: non hanno una penetrazione alla John Holmes, ma va bene così.
Se mollano ci metto un po' di coccoina.
Quando si deve fare una #saldatura su un pezzo piccolo e non si sa dove mettere la pinza di massa…
